Now Offering Online Lessons
Martone Music Studio is now offering online lessons! Learning online is a great option for students with mobility issues, unreliable transportation, or (in light of recent events) for students who would simply feel more comfortable learning from home.
Online lessons are ideal for those who may want to learn:
Simply how to get started. The basics. One or two lessons and, “Thanks! I’ll take it from here.”
How to play songs. I’ll provide a number of songs that you can start playing right away. We’ll discuss what chords to use, strumming patterns, song forms, arranging, etc.
Where to go next. For intermediate players stuck in a rut. Get feedback and advice on how to get your playing to the next level. May be supplemented with exercises, reading materials, and other sources of inspiration to help you get back on track.
General music theory. Finding the notes, creating scales, building chords, chord progressions, keys, etc.
Ear Training. May include singing, clapping, interval and chord recognition, call and response playing, melodic and rhythmic dictation, etc.
